Grant Levy became the first Australian to win a $1 million prize pool on his home soil, as he took down the PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour Grand Final and the prize pool of $1,000,000 AUS. He bested American Jeremiah Vinsant in an endurance test of heads-up play after a marathon final table at the Star City Hotel and Casino in Sydney to take down the inaugural APPT Grand Final.

Two former World Series of Poker Main Event champs were among the 116 players who returned to the Star City Hotel and Casino in Sydney for the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Grand Final. Joe Hachem and Scotty Nguyen had the greatest name recognition, but there were plenty of poker stars as the survivors of three Day 1 flights convened to play down to a final table in Sydney.

The second day 1 of the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Sydney Grand Final kicked off with plenty of star power, including 1998 World Champion Scotty Nguyen, Tony Hachem, Jeff Lisandro and Lee ‘Final Table’ Nelson. The day was a short one for Tony Hachem, brother to 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Joe Hachem.

The final table of the PokerStars APPT Macau Main Event was definitely star-studded. With 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Joe Hachem, Poker Diva Liz Lieu and professional video gamers Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier and Guillame Patry, the name-recognition factor was high for the final table of the first ever, major international poker tournament held in China.

76 players returned to the Grand Waldo Hotel & Casino for Day 2 of the PokerStars' APPT Macau Main Event, including Liz Lieu , Isabelle Mercier, Joe Hachem, Scotty Nguyen and Betrand ‘ElkY' Grospellier. By the time the dust settled on Day 2, the final table would be set, and Joe Hachem would be the lone WSOP Main Event Champion standing in the event.

PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour came to China this week to kick off the Macau Main Event, the first major poker event ever in China, and a virtual cornucopia of poker stars took the field in Asia to vie for the title. Among the big names taking the field were Isabelle Mercier, Scotty Nguyen, Joe Hachem and John Juanda.

Out of 186 players that started the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour event in Seoul, Korea, nine returned for the final table yesterday. After a hard day's play, Ziv Bachar finished off the final table the same way he began it - in first place. The young Israeli player took down the championship and the $139,872 first prize.

The remaining 48 players in the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Seoul tournament returned to the felt to play down to the final table yesterday in Seoul, Korea. Dan Schreiber started the day with a big chip lead, and finished in the middle of the pack at the final table.
