Sun Poker Offers 25 WSOP Seats
In a repeat of its 2007 promotion, Sun Poker has announced that it will be giving away a total of $300,000 in 2008
World Series of Poker prize packages, which totals 25 seats into the main event.Each prize package will be worth $12,000 to cover the 2008 WSOP main event buy-in and travel expenses. For as little as 10 MPP’s (My Poker Points), any player can qualify to win one of the 25 packages and travel to Las Vegas this summer as part of Team Sun Poker.
There are several ways to qualify.
• First, by accumulating 2000 MPP’s in one week, a place in the “weekly final” tournament is guaranteed.
• Second, 200 MPP’s gets players a seat into the weekly final satellite.
• And third, with only 10 or 20 MPP’s, a player can play in any of the four daily satellites for a chance at the weekly satellite, then be catapulted into the weekly final.
All winners of the weekly finals are entered into the $300,000 freeroll on May 11th where 25 seats will be up for grabs.
In addition, all players who sign up for a new account in the month of March and accumulate 100 MPP’s during the month will be registered for the pre-tournament on April 6th. The top 25 winners from that tournament will satellite into the final on April 13th.
