The Ultimate Dealer Button
More and more home games are played as one or two table sit-n-go’s. One of the real challenges to keeping the event moving and fun is keeping up with the blind structure and time. Solutions run the gamut, from a scrap of paper and watch to even using microwaves as the timer. Ultimate Dealer Button is a new product which should be a mandatory part of any serious player’s home game supplies. Ultimate Dealer Button has an easy to read LCD display with several key bits of information. A timer shows the length of time remaining at the current blind level, with the small and big blinds displayed. If there is an ante, then this is displayed as well. The Ultimate Dealer Button is slightly larger than a standard dealer button (3” in diameter and ½” thick vs. 2” x ¼”), but it is hardly an awkward addition to your poker table and fits nicely in your poker case.
If you’ve ever had a digital watch, then you’ll have no problem setting the blinds and antes, as well as the length of time for each level. An elegantly simple design makes it ideal for any game. For home games that run two or more tables, it is better to have an Ultimate Dealer Button for each table. The set-up is simple, and it is easy to keep the buttons synchronized until you get to the final table.
The Ultimate Dealer Button isn’t for the casual home game. If you’re still using red, blue, and white plastic chips, then this is not for you (and maybe you have bigger problems to deal with). If you can afford it, you can always pay Linda’s flight and expenses, and ask her to deal your home game. Otherwise, if you want your home game to run more smoothly than a WPT tourney, than adding the Ultimate Dealer Button will get you there.
The Ultimate Dealer Button comes in two color choices – black and white. Find more information on this unique device at ultimatedealerbutton.com.
