Please check our archived blogs for a great reading experience from bloggers that have graced our pages and moved on to other endeavors.

Chasing Chris Ferguson

We're giving ourselves a year to see if we can come close to Chris Ferguson's -0- to $10K bankroll. We may play like little girls but we're going to give this one helluva run. That means we'll be playing and blogging about it. Stop in and give us some support with comments as we forge ahead on our quest of a bankroll

JB wins PokerWorks H.O.R.S.E. tourney

Our bi-weekly PokerWorks H.O.R.S.E. tournament kicked off with nine of us in attendance.  I would like to say that I had a stellar performance in the game but that would be a lie.  I did have fun.  This was our first tournament with all three of the Chasing Chris Ferguson bloggers being in the game.  It was also the first one that Ken and GUAZZELLI missed.  Rudeelvis didn't make it either.  Katie (Round Table writer) made it though and ThunderBob (Where are they Now series writer) and his cousin joined us too.  Nice group!

Table Tango

Our resident blogger, Linda Geenen, was the original poker blogger. She began posting her early episodes of dealing and playing in the form of "Poker Tales" as early as 1997 and then converting to the 'dear diary' format in the year 2000. For an extraordinary glimpse into the world of high stakes poker - and life in general - please visit Table Tango.

Goodbye Poker Perambulation - Hello Witches Brew!

There are a multitude of things that need to be written, this is one major one that takes precedence over the others.  Poker Perambulation, also known as Ken P., has decided to take another move with his life and he's not sure how much of it is going to be wrapped around poker and blogging.

Poker Perambulation

No stone is left unturned or thoughts left untended when Ken Prevo decides to tackle a subject. Ken relentlessly pursues political and gaming issues, strategy in tournament and live play - NLH and LHE, and is our very own 'Forum Angel'. Ken suggested and introduced the 'Ask the Authors' section of our forum. If you have any thoughts, questions, or brain cramps about anything he's written, he's up for the challenge and the time it takes to delve completely into the matter. Check out Poker Perambulation for a delightful view of Ken's ride through poker and life.

Turning Pages

I did that four or so times every week here. It was mostly fun. I sure have enjoyed the almost two years of blogging. I started blogging here two years ago tomorrow so today's post makes it 2 years. I'm not sure if I want to quit or just take some time off. It is like my poker. I enjoy the game but it has changed dramatically since the UIGEA tightened how everyone gets to the bottom line.

Witches Brew Poker Stew

A little mix of this, a little mix of that, this little witch will let you know where it’s at. Take a seat in a game, partake of a slice of life, spend some time here and you’ll relieve your strife. There are no solutions to poker’s mysterious brew but visiting here won’t throw you in a stew.

Which Witch is Which....

Ok say that 5 times real fast. Like rubber baby buggy bumpers. And to answer the which question, the witch of course is Glinda from the Wizard of Oz. My Mom decided all her kids names had to start with a G, so I got tagged as the good witch but spelled with a e not an i. Of course there are people out there who would heartily disagree with the "good" part.

Settle in and get ready for a ride with Tony G.

Videos of me Playing Online Poker

I am used to playing poker on TV. I've probably done close to 100 shows now, and I am very used to being in front of the camera. But, recently we have been filming my play in many online events, and recording the results for the new 'PokerNews Strategy' section. It's one thing to sit under the lights on a TV stage, but quite another to be filmed in front of your computer. I recently played some of the big WCOOP events, and filmed those. My 6th place finish in the FTOPS main event was also filmed the whole way through, and will be part of the videos available to PokerNews Strategy subscribers. Patrik Antonious is one of the main instructors in the PokerNews Strategy site, and I have seen some of his videos, and they are amazing.
