The last time I saw Brubeck live was many years ago. It was at the London House in Chicago. The company I worked for had offices nearby and I had to show up at the office on Fridays. It was a snowy night and the expressways were a mess. Rather than face that I hit the nightclub and was there with a crowd of a good half dozen including the bartender and one waitress left. Great evening. Stayed later than I should. You could walk over and shoot the bull with the group between numbers and sets. Very enjoyable take five.
amy, amid your hectic scheduling, any chance you could take a photo of a vegas sunset, if you have the opportunity, i would be looking to use it, if ok with you, on a blog at a later date. have fun!

Nice ad for a few “struggling” musos – did u play with any of them – musically that is?
However unless Tom Waits has gone glam pop I personally would give him a wide berth in LV – he’s a “bit” edgy in my opinion
