Moving Day Part 1

A3_ChickenHead.JPG

Good morning all in Asia, Europe, and the East Coast.  One final post before I hit the sack, with tons and tons of photos.  Here’s the deal on swag as well:  I’ll be posting photos of swag throughout the week.  To claim the swag, just leave a comment and email me at csquard@gmail.com.  Then I’ll contact you and get your swag.

(Cecilia Mortensen, a big stack gone short)
I’m typing this at around 2:00AM, and there are a few things that happen then.  The railbirds are gone except for either mistresses or backers.  Fatigue definitely sets in, as most players started the day 18 hours ago.

At one point during the day, the ESPN crew actually roasted three players.  I’m not sure if it was for the Nuts or what, but it was not appreciated.

I always keep an eye out for Cyndy.  She’s agreed to an interview, but I’ll have to work to squeeze it in possibly tomorrow.

Marcel took a pot from Brian Hallows (below) of the Gutshot, turning a flush after Brian had flopped the nuts straight.  Marcel had 4c-8c in a limped pot.  Beware of the limped pot someone says.  There will be an article on PokerWorks about the qualifiers from Gutshot, who are doing very well so far.

Darrell Dicken; aka, Gigabet, shortstacked at Cecilia’s table.  Lennox Lewis also spent the day with these fine folks.  People were fairly calm at this table for some reason…

Generation divide on the attire.

Felicia’s buddy, Jean Gaspard, is cranking away at his table, up to $42k late. He said Isabelle just never got much, she shoved at the end with A-K on a flop of 3-3-2, and guy calls with A-J.  You can guess the turn.

Robert Williamson III.   We keep missing each other for an interview, and we have a running joke about it.  I told after taking this shot, “You keep staying in these tournaments every time I try to finish our interview.”  The nerve of that guy; you know, it’s all about him!

I squeed the MATH in (Hoy’s tourney), so hopefully he’ll have a writeup.  I also sweated Waffles to his 3rd place tourney finish last night.  Email me at csquard@gmail.com if you want to be added to the email list for different documents I’m using (spreadsheet of everyone by chip count and by name).  Outta here now to get some sleep.  Good morning, good evening, and good night, and thanks for stopping by.

    Hey,

Cool spreadsheet! I just got it in my e-mail. I’ve been looking for something like that! I can’t check most sites out while at work, but that spreadsheet does quite nicely! Great work.

I’ll keep an eye out for the swag – you know how much I like getting free stuff!
