This is a true story.  I am changing the names to protect the individuals in the tournament.  I had stumbled upon a guy during my Day 1 wanderings who loudly proclaimed how happy he was to be at the Main Event.  You see, he had freerolled his way from one of the online sites into sitting in Las Vegas, but getting to his seat was a tough challenge.

3:00PM Update:  Phil Ivey, Juan Carlos Mortensen, Josh Aries eliminated.  Dmitry Nobles continues his sick play, catching a third spade when he raised with 9s-3s pre-flop.  Michael Lynn has built his stack up to $400k on the ESPN Feature Table.  Melissa Hayden and Cecilia Mortensen share the same table and are freezing, searching for gloves or a small fire if available.

Today is a day of great anticipation, with the field all coming together for the first time at the Main Event.  Yesterday was also a day everyone was looking forward to, as anyone who wanted could get everything done they needed to.
