Hachem, Negreanu in Action

A1_Neverwin.JPG

3:00PM Update:  Phil Ivey, Juan Carlos Mortensen, Josh Aries eliminated.  Dmitry Nobles continues his sick play, catching a third spade when he raised with 9s-3s pre-flop.  Michael Lynn has built his stack up to $400k on the ESPN Feature Table.  Melissa Hayden and Cecilia Mortensen share the same table and are freezing, searching for gloves or a small fire if available.

Media restrictions have yet to kick in, so we’re looking good to start the day. Lots and lots and lots of photos. It’s a bit time consuming, but I’ll put up a chunk then more in a bit. I’ll start doing regular updates through the day, so feel free to come back again and again for all the action. Neverwin pictured above. This is a very exciting day as everyone jockeys for position to either cash or accumulate chips.

Tex Barch, shortstacked and fighting for survival.

Nam Le, in good shape at a good table.

Josh Arieh from Bodog and the ATL, looks to be playing some great poker.

A1_Cyndy.JPG

Cyndy got in just a bit late; a really nice relaxed shot as she settles in.

Joseph Hachem, the champ, with Vaughn Sandman in the 6s. Hachem is really on his game and could do some damage at the table.

Daniel Negreanu, whistling a bit. Not really a very good sign for the others at the table, and he’s still Top Ten in chips after the first level of the day.
