Jamie Gold is sick. Just after Michael Binger moves in with kings vs. Gold’s kings for a chopped pot, Allen Cunningham raises to $700k, Doug Kim calls, then Jamie Gold folds but accidentally shows Ac-10s. The flop: Jd-Qs-Kh. Allen bets $500k, and Doug folds, and everyone is glad Gold mucked before the flop. Folks in the house: Jennifer Tilly and Phil Laak just sneak into the room.

Richard Lee looks to be the strongest at the table when it comes to total play, catching cards, pre-flop, post-flop, when to get away from hands, when to move on people. Paul Wasicka made a big move on Doug Kim, raising to $700k, Doug reraising, then Wasicka moving all-in. Doug went into the tank, then mucked.
Other news: Jeff Madsen, two-time bracelet winner, asked to leave media section then borrows someone’s badge, then caught again. Poker Royalty dude (agent to many players) tossed out for similar infraction.

Jamie Gold: traps with queens vs. Erik Friberg who went all-in with jacks. Flop comes 3s-7c-2h, the entire media booing Gold. Turn of 10c, has to catch a red jack. Qc on the river adds insult to injury. He moves close to $40M now.
A key pot occurred earlier that tells a big story. There has been alot of limping, raises that take down pots, 1.5-2.0x raises. Jamie Gold limped, Richard Lee raised to $1M, then Gold raised to $5M. The limp/raise, we’ve all seen it, we’ve all shoved against it, we’ve all gotten our clocks cleaned. Richard and Allen mucked, and Jamie showed the power of the stack as well as the trickiness he plays with. He’s limped with monsters and raise with crap.
Jamie: 33.6M, Richard: 20M, Allen: 14M, Doug 7.5M, everyone else below. This was the stacks right before Gold smashed Friberg, this after Friberg doing the switcharoo on PokerStars, changing logos in the night. The only person unattached is Richard Lee, with everyone else adorned with signage. Folks rush away to interview Friberg or type away on their websites. It’s unclear how many folks have gotten knocked out by Gold.
