Quest of a Closet Poker Player

Hope everyone is having a great holiday so far.  We have a brief break between Sweetie’s family here in the ATL and heading to my family in Memphis.  I think I did fairly well with her parents, and it was really great seeing marshman88 if only briefly as he hustled back to G-Vegas to see his lady friend.

Not much poker for me, just donking around on PokerStars while I’m firing this out.  I don’t think this is the healthiest way to spend time at the table, but I do it fairly consistently.  It means playing without watching the table for any sort of player patterns, really rarely concentrating on the game to any great extent.  Not a good thing for sure.

My goal of getting my bankroll to $10k for the year is a miss as December ended up a net loser for me of $1650 or so rather than being up that much.  I end probably around $6750 or so, better a fairly treading water year.  I took out $2k for the WSOP entry and went through bouts of success and demise fairly evenly.  Hopefully CC’s Partners will bring some new enthusiasm and success; maybe they can outdo me in the results column (let’s hope so).
