CC’s Partners: Working Through

Continued traction is tough for CC’s Partners as Neil and Kat push through toward the end of the first month. Has this been a good idea?  If you look at different success measures, it doesn’t look great.

Kat is now at $69.60 after another rough week.  We are planning to chat to see if I can become more directly involved in the effort with her.  In some ways, I suspect CC’s Partners has taken some of the joy of playing from Kat, which is unfortunate. I’m anticipating that we’ll either have a solid gameplan after our chat or a new direction.

Neil has figured out his internet connection problems and had a good set of SNG’s, with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in four attempts.  His bankroll sits at $257.15 for a $20 profit for the week, and I’m looking forward to see how we can do with a solid week of play.

I had a really rotten session late last night, treading water in $1/2 NLHE for probably three hours than check/raising a JJ8 flop with 10-8.  The late raiser went to the mat with pocket tens, and I lost $115.  It was one of the more troubling sessions for me as there were five tight multi-tablers there, I never moved,  then went on this last few hands donkathon of just sheer boredom and frustration.  The money isn’t alot, but it’s more the overall frustration of the thing.  I’m not sure if anyone has ever experienced this, but I didn’t like it one bit–not the losing, but just the frustration at the end where I didn’t care too much what happened.

So very tired most of the time now as I come down with a bad cold and get <4 hours sleep each night.  Not smart at all.  In work, I signed back up for HooversOnline, a business intelligence database which I’ll use to help find leads for my business.  I really need to jump back in the saddle of cranking away at my lead generation and sales pipeline, and the sense of urgency grows.

I took my old laptop to Best Buy to get the monitor and wireless thing fixed.  I also bought something called TunePlus, which allowed me to synch my iPod to my new laptop.  I’m not sure if it was required to do this, but I figured it was a fairly nominal fee to make sure I didn’t erase my iPod.  I mainly listen to my laptop as I’m working rather than my actual iPod, so getting this figured out was a big step forward.

Hope everyone is doing well, and have a great day.

I think that’s still Tilt, but a different kind of tilt, and a tilt that might become more of an issue once the fish continue to dry up in these next few months.
