I had a very busy day of work with my day job, and with PokerWorks down for the count yesterday, I didn’t come into the Rio.
If you’re a 6-max player, this is an event that would put you to the test.
Gabe Kaplan asked one of the cocktail guys for a Gatorade, something he didn’t sell. “I’ll get it,” I told him, and I ran to the gift store to grab a Green Gatorade.
I watched a table for thirty minutes from the rail of Day 3 of the HORSE event. Let me give you some initial thoughts.
OK, I’m officially envious that Michael Craig is second in chips at the Final Table of the event I played.
I didn’t want all the hoopla around this, but I did play last evening in the WSOP. Busted out around 2:30AM, thirty minutes before the end of Day 1.
And we’re off for the most anticipated event of the World Series. Photo dump, then I’ll have Tables up soon enough.
Pauly played today in the $1.5k NLH event, made it through the dinner break and is still alive next to CK Hua.
For most of the spectators in the Amazon Room at the Rio, the WSOP is less about poker and more about seeing poker players they recognize.
