Good Morning All

It’s a late night, so I thought I’d give you a few photos from today’s $5K HORSE event.

MeanGene’s pin-up girl, Isabelle looked pretty nice.

This is like the guy who had hotels on the Yellows and the Greens in Monopoly.  Murders Row.

Name them.  I actually don’t know the middle guy’s name.

I emailed a draft of an article I’m doing on Liz.  I think it’s really good, and I need to follow-up with another ten minutes of discussion to finish it.  Hopefully, we can get that done in the next few days if she’s available.  Oh, and this is easy, but name her 5s neighbor (or 6s, not sure).

“What do you do with all those pictures?” Cyndy Violette asked.  It was a good question.  I have 854 photos so far (not of just Cyndy).  I take pictures just to connect with the players; not for them to connect with me, but to spark a little something.  I normally just shoot away while I’m here.

Amy Calistri wrote one of the best articles so far on a Make-a-Wish child who came in late last night.  Phil Ivey, who is intensely private and will do almost nothing that brings attention to himself, let the young man sneak in and sit next to him during a tourney.  What she didn’t write was that Terrence Chan seemed to be the driver behind making it happen, but he neither sought nor grabbed any attention about it.

I look around the Media Room this late night and realize I am one of the few fathers here.  I didn’t realize it was Father’s Day this Sunday until I read something about it on one of the news websites.  I miss these guys:

They have their Dad’s body.  And I miss this lady.
