Pauly Alive and Well, and So Is Linda
Pauly played today in the $1.5k NLH event, made it through the dinner break and is still alive next to CK Hua.
I snuck in and out to take this shot without him seeing me, sort of like a no-hitter you don’t want to mess with. Â I’m a big CK Hua fan, so I think he’d be someone I would avoid.
Butt #15. I have a request to track down Marco Traniello’s butt, but no luck today. No one has named #14 either, so go back a post if you like.

Male or female? I ask the question after hearing the voice during a HORSE satellite.
I like this Jennifer Tilly better than the Poker After Dark one for sure. Next to Patrik Antonius, she’s probably the coolest person in the room every day.
I busted out of one satellite today, called in the first level by A6o when I raised on the button. Rags hit the flop, and a 6 hit the turn. I had AJs and bet the turn. I shoved later with deuces and was called for 550 more with A-10o. Other limper folded A8o when the first guy called me.
I’m pretty sure I want to play in two tourneys. I may play tomorrow afternoon’s $1.5k Mixed Holdem event and the $2k NLH later this week. HORSE starts tomorrow, which sounds exciting but won’t be early on. It will be a collection of all the top players, no question, but with 100k in chips with 300/600 blinds (see the structure sheet).  This means a ton of play in this five day event. Games change every thirty minutes, but it will be more like a thousand paper cuts than the big movement of no-limit. It also should have the least juice with $2k held back or 4%.
And if you haven’t caught this, Friday was Linda’s last day at the Bellagio.  I’ve sat on the secret for two weeks, so I’m glad it’s out. Linda is my buddy, and I look forward to seeing more of her here at the Rio.
I’m hoping to get out of here with Gene early tonight. It’s 10:15 now, and we got home around 5:00 this morning. I was back here around 1:00 or so, and some sleep will do me some good. I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to make a trip back home, but I’m still trying to figure it out. Give your loved ones big hugs tomorrow, and I’ll check in when I’m in tomorrow. I’ll have a first round of HORSE photos, which should make for some packed tables.

I’m going to guess Erica Shoenberg on the butt. I read Linda’s post, I was sad to hear it because I love her dealer stories so much. Good luck in the tourneys.
