CC: Happy Two Years (and a Couple Weeks)
Of course little did I realize I’ve had this blog for two years now…
A Weekend in Another’s Shoes
Sweetie had me booked with a packed weekend of childcare as I had a chance to fill her role for a weekend.
Four-Tabling Lessons Learned
I’ve become a bit of a four-tabling junkie on PokerStars, with the $0.50/1.00 NLH 6-max my new muse. I’m not quite sure if I have any huge revelations, but here it goes.
Amid the Whirlwind of Nothingness
I’m fairly back to the grind now of looking out at the world from my basement.
Returning to Normalcy: Part I
The grandmother of Sweetie’s mountain friends passed away last week, so she went to the mountains north of G-Vegas for part of the weekend. I was home alone with my three boys for the first time in two months.
Asleep at My Laptop, Awakened by a Whale
I told Sweetie I was headed down in the basement to check email; the next thing I knew, it was 1:30AM.
My Own Bed
Forty-nine days. Seven weeks. Incredibly, I was back in my own bed with Sweetie last night.
2007 Main Event Updates
I’ll fire up a post an hour until this thing is done. T-minus twenty minutes until kickoff.
Reflecting on PokerNews Coverage
Today is the off day at the World Series of Poker, the week before the Super Bowl. I fell asleep on the sofa of our house at 5:30 this morning after we left around 4:30 from the Rio.
UPDATE: Down to Twenty Seven
We’ve lost eight players in the first level and another shortly into the second level, so three tables have been redrawn.
