CC: Happy Two Years (and a Couple Weeks)

Of course little did I realize I’ve had this blog for two years now…

I have to confess I didn’t realize that the anniversary of my start had come and gone until I saw change100 had just completed the same anniversary.  In many ways, Quest of a Closet Poker Player has been a great experience for me:  meeting new people and friends, learning that I can actually write a little, exploring a bunch of stuff that troubles me and interests others (see below from the first year)

The last six months have seen me become more distant with other poker blogger friends as I’ve played significantly less tourneys and just haven’t interacted too much with folks.  It’s one of the real great benefits for me personally of having this, finding others who reach out to me.  It’s been especially great to meet others in person this past year, so many great people.  I count many as my friends, probably more than any except my brother, brother-in-law, and my wife.  That may be more of a testament to my INTP-induced isolation than anything else.
