R.I.P. Neteller
May ye rest in peace.
Once again, I’d lilke to thank my government for telling me how I should live my life and what I should do with my time. I’d also like to thank it for putting my livelihood in jeopardy for the third time in twelve months. I’m not sure my nervous system can take this shit anymore. Screw pot, I’m going to have to turn to booze AND drugs to get through this…
And just when I started seeing some good results again. Aii fuckin ya.
I just opened a Click2Pay account. Full Tilt still takes that, right? Well, at least maybe for another week or two before that company’s CEOs are pinched in an airport/in their driveway/on vacation/in a turkish bathhouse.
The sky isn’t falling but it sure as hell seems like it. Most notable is the relative non-response from the major online sites. I’m guessing that they have absoutley no idea what to say.
Coincidentally, on the same day Neteller pulled out of the U.S. market, IT SNOWED HERE… IN LOS ANGELES. Hell is freezing over.
My esteemed colleague Amy Calistri has been writing some intelligent, thoughtful pieces over at Poker News. Check em out for more info while I pound bong hits and multi-table SNGs and O8 cash games like it’s the last night of the world.
I played the Mookie Wednesday night, but got coolered on only the second hand when my KK ran smack into Weak Player’s AA. Booooo. I’d been looking forward to playing with friends. There’s always next week, though and it’s a great crowd that comes out for this tournament. In the words of my state’s leader, I’ll be baaaaaack. Colly-forrrnia.
I’ll be in Las Vegas this weekend– very very briefly and for work, not play. I’ll be covering one of the Poker Dome semi-final matches for Mansion Poker and Poker News and I get to bunk at Caesar’s, where I have not stayed since we stopped for the night in Vegas on a family roadtrip in in the late 80’s. The only thing I remember about the room is my then 8-year old sister innocently asking “why are there mirrors on the ceiling?”

Check out Full Tilt’s deposit section again. They’ve just added Wirecard, a virtual MC and a new way for us to get our money in there. US players can begin Feb 1. I can’t wait!
