Chasing Chris Ferguson

Last night I played 2 freerolls and busted out early. My demise in HE came when the blinds were 200/400 and I raised preflop 5k with the AQs.  The monster hand that called and beat me was 5-2 off suit. Sure I flopped a Q and thought it was the best DUH silly me! Last night’s score was good witch 0 donkeys 2.

Today I just stumbled upon a Stud H/L freeroll and tried that. I made it to #24 and the goal was within 88.  I have figured this out about the freerolls and advancing to the round 2’s. Some freerolls like Hubble’s are to a specific tournament, and others like the Eddington’s Stud H/L is for the round 2 of your choice.  You get a ticket in your account, then can use it whenever for whichever round 2 you are in the mood for. I really like that, as I never know if I am going to be home, or it will be snowing etc.  Maybe I will just collect tickets until spring…

This is what most all of the freerolls I play in start out like. Every player throwing in as many chips as they can….

Now that I have the ticket collecting thing down, that is what I hope to do. Keep playing, keep getting tickets, and playing in the round 2’s when I can and hope for a score.

I am gone till the weekend, maybe longer. Hubby has been sick and we are afraid it is his cancer acting up again. So we are off to Reno tomorrow for his tests and hopefully a visit with his Oncologist. I say hopefully as he is seen at the VA, and like all government entities, they have their own agenda.

So for who knows how long, poker takes a back seat. I wish my life was so simple that poker could always be #1, but it’s just not that way. This should give the other gals a chance to catch up, maybe pass me. So go get em gals!
