Well, I don’t think I’ll be playing any poker for the next week, so I had to get one last game in before my vacation!I chose to play in a texas hold-em tourney on Ultimate Bet. Things started off slowly, my best hand was QJ offsuit for the first hour. I did a lot of folding. Eventually, I doubled up with pocket Jacks and then I folded again for about another half hour. My table was super aggressive. It seemed that every time I raised, someone would go all-in and I would end up folding. I guess my impatience got the best of me because pocket tens looked really good to me and I pushed all in. The person that called me had pocket queens and they held up. So, I was sent packing. Oh well - maybe a week in Florida will be just the rest I need. I’ll be back in a week with a vengeance! Happy Holidays!
