Chasing Chris Ferguson

Even though I’ve been sick, I’ve been missing my poker, so I fired up the laptop from my couch last night and found a freeroll that was about to begin on Ultimate Bet.

I played for about 40 minutes when I looked down to see pocket fours under the gun.  I limped in, that’s my standard move for when I have small pocket pairs in early position and on the flop came a 4!  So, I checked and let the other players bet into me.  On the turn, came a second heart, so that started to worry me a bit.  I decided to push all-in, and I won the hand!  So, another 30 minutes went by without much action on my part,  and then all of a sudden I was dealt pocket kings.  I was on the button this time, so I made a nice sized raise and the big blind pushed all-in.  He had pocket tens, and he flopped a ten.  I never improved, so I was out of the game!
