Invasion Of The Poker Hand Snatchers
I just don’t get it! I was playing the 8:35 p.m. Ultimate Bet Holdem Freeroll and I was cross-eyed waiting for a hand.I mean I waited, and I Waited….and I WAITED!!!! My chip stack was actually at 1500 (the starting amount of the tourney) and I had fought tooth and nail to keep it there. I could not gain one frigging chip! Finally, I caught a pair Queens. The blinds were at 60/120 and I bet $360. What happened? The same old story…… everyone folded except for one player.
I was in position one and he was in position three. He had already checked when I bet and does he call? Noooooooo, he raised me All-In. His chip stack was around 10,000 or so. What does he turn up? A pair of fives, a flipping pair of fives! Am I missing somethin’ here or should I start going All-In on a pair of gosh darn FIVES!!!!! So, can you guess what came up in the flop? Why yes, you are correct, a #$*(% FIVE! What else came up? 4,8,9,J. And once again, I was out of the tourney. Where do these people come from? Are they implants straight from hell to torture us??????
I am going to have to start on Prozac if this keeps up! Or maybe Percodan-WITH alcohol! May the Poker Gods have mercy on my cards! I need a winning HAND! $Maxiecat$

Pocket 5’s must be a standard death blow. I had AA and was against 55, my flop was A-6-2 I went all in and 55 called. Of course the turn was a 4 and the river was a 3. Same thing happened to Linda’s KK against the dreaded 55 the other night. Maybe we should push it all-in with 55, evidently they are the nuts!
Don’t try to figure it (or them) out gal, there is no way to make any sense of it all, just do your best and try to have fun amid the frustration!
