Royally Flushed
As Cissy Spacek said when she was portraying Loretta Lynn in Coal Miner’s daughter, after she had her nervous breakdown, “my Momma told me, “girl, you gotta run your life” but my life’s runnin’ me.” Life has been extremely busy for me and mine. We are selling our house and sprucing thing up a bit to enhance it’s appeal, plus, the spring and summer visitation schedule is about to begin with friends and family coming to stay with us here in “Sunny Florida.” I have not had the opportunity to play as many tourneys as I would like and when I do get to play, of late, I am not faring well in terms of placing anywhere close to a win.
I did get into the Ultimate Bet 8:35 pm HE Freeroll last night and made it only to #1943 of 5002. I was holding my own and caught AK of spades. I had about 2500 chips and was 3 from BB. Blinds were 50/100 and I bet $400 and was called by only two players. The flop came as Q of spades, 4 of hearts, 10 of spades. One little card from the Royal Flush/Straight Flush whatever you care to call it. I bet $400 again and only one player stayed and he went all in with his 5000 chips. what the hell, I stayed. He had trip Qs and the Turn and River were 6 of diamonds and A of clubs. therefore, I got royally flushed! That’s my story and I am sticking to it (or it is sticking to me). $Maxiecat$
