In And Out In No Time At All
I managed to get into the Ultimate Bet 6:35 p.m. Omaha Limit 8/b tourney with my limited poker playing window of time this week.I had just gotten settled in and into my playing rhythm when I caught a pair of sixes and called my chips to play. Up came J,6,J which gave me a Full House so I was doing all I could to get my chips in the pot and the player to my right was doing the same.Â
At this point, I was not really paying attention to how many players were staying in until all of a sudden it was just me and my right-handed opponent. At any rate, all my chips ended up in the pot and his Full House of Sevens full of Jacks canned my Sixes full of Jacks so I was out of the game. I really did not expect it and had to stare at my notice that I finished 4971 of 5000. That is the fastest think I have ever been in and out of the game yet!
I was unable to catch myself another tourney to play within my time limit for the evening as my guests were coming back from their sight-seeing. I will try to make up for lost time later in the week. Until then, I am over and out! $Maxiecat$

Thanks to A.J. for noticing my mistake in stating the hand in this blog! I have now corrected it. It’s nice to know you guys are paying attention out there. Wish the mis-stated hand would have been the case as I would have be “in the chips!”
