I played two tournaments at the same time the other night - not a big deal really, some players play up to 9 million tables at the same time and keep up with it, right? If they make a room big enough to hold all those monitors - and a system that can keep up with it - and the player’s eyesight can discern card shapes and bet amounts at a reasonable distance, the skies the limit…exception would be how many tables the poker site will allow a user to play at once. Anyway, two tables is my max. I can’t and don’t want to play anymore than that when I’m playing 7 stud 8 in one and NLH or LH in the other. (more…)

This is something I seem to remember from an old TV show called “The Real McCoys” which was on eons ago. Grampa, played by Walter Brennan, limped and had a hitch in his get-along. What comes to mind to me is glitches, those big bumps in life that happen when you are just getting along, then bam…a hitch! There are many hitches in my poker get-along, and in my every day life. It seems I have been gone forever…..Feb. 28th was my last post, nine days ago, wow, it has been awhile! That was the Pumped Up post, maybe I should have called this one “deflated” or something. The Bankroll didn’t stay pumped up for long I am sad to say.

That’s how I feel when I play right now, they know it’s coming, I’m blindsided by playing the best hand and getting smashed by a sledge hammer. I am amazed at how many people put their tournament life on the line with bad calls and raises. But in the long run, that’s a very good thing, because sooner or later, their two card out isn’t going to get there. I’m past the point of being fried and dried, toasted and roasted with bad beats and bad calls. It’s kind of funny right now. (more…)

and roll me in the frothy mixture, toss me into a flour bag, shake till I’m fully coated, and then throw me into a skillet of hot oil.  I am fucking fried right now.  Don’t forget to make sure the oil is so hot that I burn into a cinder crisp in it.  That’s about all that’s left. (more…)
