Chasing Chris Ferguson

This is funny, but not. Saturday night I played in  $2 NLH Tourney on PokerStars. It was the usual donkfest and I was sorely lacking for playable hands. Then this hand comes down which turned out to be real weird.

I was in the BB with one caller, had 956 chips and the limit was 150/300 and picked up A-J so raised to 600. Don’t ask me why I didn’t just push, but I didn’t. The limper.. (P()K3R)BEN called my raise. I want to mention the limper was playing donk poker, playing anything..raising, bluffing, yes I took notes. The flop was rainbow little and I checked, he bet 100 and I called, thinking if I hit an A it would be good. Turn was a blank, I checked again and he bet 100 and I called. Sure I had nothing but I had no chips either, thinking I had to either throw the rest in on this hand or save the 156 to pay the SB. The river was yet another blank, nothing higher than a 9 on the board. I checked and pokerben bet I called my last chips with my mouse on the leave table button, thinking I was gone. Surprise surprise (but not TOO surprised) when  pokerben showed a K-2 no pair and I won with A high. Now it gets ridiculous.

The bluffer, (P()K3R)BEN starts going off on me for cheating. Ok , I am LMAO at this of course. The exchange goes like this:

 P()K3R)BEN: If you’re gonna cheat you should be smarter about it
(P()K3R)BEN: ridiculous
PokerHack07: cheat? haha
PokerHack07: if you think that is possible u shouldnt play here
(P()K3R)BEN: yeah yeah, save it
(P()K3R)BEN: You call me with nothing, LOL
(P()K3R)BEN: dumb
(P()K3R)BEN: Basically you’re caught red handed
PokerHack07: right fruitless to match wits with an unarmed person
P()K3R)BEN: wits, haha
(P()K3R)BEN: You’re calling ME stupid
PokerHack07: mad cause u got caught bluffing? You were trying to run a stone cold bluff against someone with no chips, consider that?
(P()K3R)BEN: Bluffing, lol, I’d say nice call if you had something, ANYTHING…but that was obvious cheating
PokerHack07: right whatever einstein
(P()K3R)BEN: Worlds dumbest criminals
PokerHack07: pokerstars will be happy to know u think they allow cheating

It went on from his side and I finally told him I was blocking his chat as I did with morons. It got too irritating and it was hard for me to concentrate with him yammering on and on. The funny part was when he said I was stupid for having a name like PokerHack that advertised I was a cheater, lol. Guess the brain doesn’t know all the meanings of the word hack, like I could be a Taxi driver…or writer.

Of course I reported the donktard, he says he reported me, fine. I shouldn’t have made the “moron” comment but hell, I AM Irish, how calm am I expected to be when someone accuses me of cheating and won’t let up the badgering? I am sure when/if PokerStars reads the chat log I won’t be in any trouble. I doubt they will take kindly to the fact this brainiac was telling everyone at the table that they allow cheating. And not once but over and over again that basically the site was crooked.

Thankfully he went busted a few hands later with QQ vs KK, just wish I had the KK, but it was ok, poker justice served.

I am tired of being an idiot magnet, and reporting these nitwits. I play and keep my mouth shut. I try to go by Mom’s credo, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all” so I yell and scream, but don’t type it in the chat box! I hate this BS while playing, some moron that is craving attention so has to go off on someone (usually me). It kills the game for me, but doesn’t cause me to tilt and try to beat them, because this is what part of their plan is I think.

In the tourney I came in just in the money 324th for $3.84 a whoopdedoo $1.64 profit. Way too much irritation for $1.64 I can tell you that! Unless you make the final table in these things they are a waste of a lot of time. I much prefer ring games, but my cards are sour and the games suck lately. But it is ok, I am on no time schedule!

Back to the cheating thing. How stupid would I (or anyone) be to play at a site they didn’t trust? Sorry but I am smarter than that thank you very much. I am not going to risk a cent anywhere I have doubts about their integrity. And whoever does is just plain crazy. You don’t have to be the fastest duck in the pond to grasp that right? I get so tired of these morons who play bad, lose, then start ranting about a conspiracy or cheating. Surely they all can’t be 15 yrs old and playing on their Dad’s credit card, can they? They sure act like it!
