All-In and Over And Out, AGAIN!
The saga continues. It is beginning to feel like a rerun of a soap opera where they leave you hanging-for days-to get to the next scene but always give the promise of something hot and exciting to come when you “tune in tomorrow.”
I got into the Ultimate Bet 5:15 p.m. HE Freeroll and watched far more than I played. The few times I got into the rumble (which is what it looked like from my perspective), I ended up folding to All-In bets that were flying left and right with little or no hands to substantiate them.
When I finally caught pocket Kings, I had been playing for about and hour and 20 minutes and was on the button with 1300 chips in my stack. (See, I never gained anything for my chip stack the whole time!) I bet 4 times blinds, which were 100/200 for a total of 800 and the BB raised me to All-In. Everyone else folded and he turned up a pair of Jacks. The flop was 9,Q,Q followed by a 4 on the turn. Then came the Jack on the River giving him a Full House and leaving me Royal two pair in the dust!
Tune in again tomorrow for another Royal scandal designed to keep me, the court jester, dancing for my chips! $Maxiecat$
