Chasing Chris Ferguson

Hello all.  Just got home from a great vacation on Siesta Key here in Florida and an added bonus of a night on Anna Marie Island!We had a wonderful time staying right on the beach in both places.  Siesta Key is more manicured but not an inch of the island is open.  Every available spot is crammed with a living structure, restaurant, bar or whatever else can be put on a spot!  The beach, however is quite beautiful.  Anna Marie Island is a more open and natural setting with coconut trees, pine trees, sand dunes and sea oats.  Both had their own beauty and allure.  The only bad part of the trip was having to come home!

With that said, I should have stayed on vacation because my tourney last night did not go my way at all.  I played the tournament $ Play Chip tourney on Full Tilt with 2699 other players and was doing so-so but not wonderfully.  At least I was holding my own until the card fairy and the chip gremlin had a little fun with me.

I had a K,J and bet 2X blinds which was a total of 100 chips and was called by two players.  The flop came as K, 10, Q so when a player bet 50 chips, I raised 100 more on promise of more to come and it did. The turn was a 9 and my only opponent at this point went All-In so I followed.  My opponent turned up a pair of Nines and therefore had trips to my Straight but the River came as a King.  As you know, I trumped his trips but lost to the Full House that King created for him and I was out at 1147 of 2700.  The saga continues……..$Maxiecat$
