Hit By A Tidal Wave
Well, guys, I am no better off financially than I was when I began this journey. So far, I have at least learned a lot and feel richer for the knowledge even if my pockets have acquired no weight.I played them all the other night, Ultimate Bet, Full Tilt and Poker Stars and won nothing and got nowhere. I made good decisions as well as bad ones, had patience and lost my patience, turned the other cheek until I was red and sore and ended a defeated but slightly tipsy soldier in the never-ending freeroll war.
I don’t even wish to discuss my hands this post. However, I am trying a few tourneys today to see if there has been any change in the foul wind that has been blowing my way since my last meager win. If this were my profession, I would starve to death at this point! (Maybe that would be a good way to lose a few pounds).
I feel like the poor guy who has constipation and is waiting for ultimate relief while being afraid of the actual arrival of that coveted relief at the same time. The pain that comes before can be excruciating. So it is in looking for a win. The pain of the losses are tough while the expectation of a win is bittersweet! $Maxiecat$
