The romance is gone
I’m beyond sick of it. It’s the typical ‘never win with a pair of aces’ even if you had a fucking bazooka shoved up their ass and told them you were going to pull the trigger if they called you.

*** SUMMARY ***
Seat 1: PokerWorks (small blind) showed [As Ad] and lost with a pair of Aces
I haven’t won with a pair of aces in a heads-up pot in at least 3 years now. I often wonder what they think you are raising with…you haven’t played a hand for three weeks and suddenly looked down to 6-2 off suit and possibly decided to come over the top of a raise and go all-in?
I was out of this tournament within the next two orbits, I found 10-10 when I had about 700 left in chips. Not to worry, two other people were in the hand with me and one held A-A and the other held Q-Q. I didn’t catch the magic 10 ball that should have been lurking as the next card coming off the deck. If you see me in a game, jump in…I can’t win.
Sign me out of joint, disgusted, irritated, whining, pissed, fried, flipped out, not sure what hand will ever win a pot, and hoping the Card Fairy flies into a fan.
