Play Chip Plunge
I thought I would stay on the Play Chip side of the coin last night since I had some success with it recently and got into a Full Tilt, 2000 play chip, 90 Player Sit’N'Go. Well, I sat alright but I did GO anywhere! I paid homage to the Blinds King and that was about it. After I was about ready to climb the walls, I got and A,9 suited and decided to call my $30. Several players were in and I Flopped a nine and one player bet $30 and I called along with one other player. The Turn was an Ace and I bet $60 (two pair seldom equal a win for me) and was only called by the player who had bet $30 previously. I suppose I should have gone All-In in this case because the River was a King and he bet $200 which was all I had left and he was holding a K,9 in which case, his two pair took mine out and I was butt-kicked from the game! I was #51 of 90!
I then decided to give the same Sit’N'Go one more try and at least I made it until after the first break and finished at #16 of 90. Again, the hands did not come and I held on the best I could and tried to play tight. BB came my way and I had a 5,6 of hearts (whoopie doo). I checked as I was all in with the blinds anyway and Flopped 3,4,3, so I was holding a hopeful 4 card straight. The Turn was a 9 and the River was an 8. My opponent won with two pair-nines and threes. I threw in the towel after this one and went to bed! $Maxiecat$
