Three Tournaments Today
I barely crawled into the money in one of them. It was nice though, to end up winning a $ or 2…actually $1.45. When I was about 200 out of the $, I had about $5K left and the blinds-antes were too big for what I had. I resisted the urge to plunge with K-J spades. Perhaps I’m supposed to play that hand at that point after a long dry spell of non-playable deadwood, but I folded instead and watched the board bring nothing that would improve K-J and I would have been out on that hand instead of making it through 3200 other players to find a small bit of gristle left on the knuckle bone of a dead Card Fairy.
The other two tournaments were not even close to $ - one was a 180 SNG and one was a $3.30 rebuy. I’ve now decided to give up on the rebuy tournaments until I improve the status of my BR. *cross my fingers*
I am signed up to play the PokerStars Sunday $200K guarantee and the PokerWorks H.O.R.S.E. Tourney. So far there are three of us signed up for the PokerWorks H.O.R.S.E. Tourney. It will be fun, even if it’s only us three. We’d love to have more of you join us…maybe you’re afraid? HAHAHAHAHA!
Any time I have dough in my PokerStars account, I’m playing the $200K guaranteed tournament. Yes, there are usually 20K plus players to fade your way through but the money payout is fantastico if you get close to the final table and this kid could use a bankroll boost. I’ll take my chances.
