OK, so I didn’t win any money and it has now been a year. But, Glenda did pretty well for herself and her pockets have a very nice jingle in them and Linda got to feel the love, at least for a while. I say hats off to a great year and I will hold dear all the socializing and the lessons learned over this time together that we all spent chasing Chris! Money made and/or lost does not hold a candle to the friends we make along the way. I have gained a few this year and I am richer for it!
I have played very little in the past few weeks, as life has taken a front seat to the poker wagon and has guided me elsewhere from the online games of late.
Lady you are to be given a 365 gold stars, one for each day you hung in there. You gave it your all and never gave up, something even old poker players would find a hard task.
I for one will miss your blog posts as they always gave me at least one laugh and always brightened my day. I am so proud to call you my friend! And, don’t give up, your day is coming!
Thanks for the memories…
Glenda, you are far too kind. If you knew all the times I was secretly ranting and raving, you may think twice about me! However, I do love a challenge, and it was fun trying to make a go of it.
It has been great blogging with you and Linda. Maybe we will come together yet again in future endeavors where we can share old memories and make new ones as well!
All 3 of you were awesome. I think a year was too short for a 10k challenge, and I’m impressed with everything you all did. Maxie, your persistence is amazing.
I’ll try to make it to one of the horse tourneys with you folks, but no promises in the near future… dealing with the same sitch as glenda and getting near the end (my dad). Plus the fact that I know only 2 out of the 5 games…. trial by fire can be good maybe…
Linda – this challenge was a great idea, glad you all stuck with it.
Good luck to all in the future!
