I was in the Full Tilt suite, showing my movie producer around the World Series. (Yeah, I know I should explain that one and I will, just LATER.) The players in flight 1-B went on break and the room sprang to life.

Phil Ivey was talking on his cell phone and trying to get his noise-cancelling Bose headphones to work. “Does somebody have a battery?”

Ever the resourceful journalist/lackey, I handed him a AAA battery. As he inserted it in the headphones, I said, “I get five percent of you, now, right?”

“Ten percent.”

“No, way, Phil. I want five percent and not - Oh, wait. Never mind. Ten will be fine.”
