Lift-off!
I’m just getting around to reading The Right Stuff. Yeah, even though Tom Wolfe writes in my genre, I decided to wait just a couple decades to check it out. I’m almost goofy-happy right now, but exhausted. I slept just 4 hours last night, and 1 the night before.
Since last Friday, I wrote the cover story for the December issue of BLUFF (about Chris Ferguson), my column for the December issue (”Five-Flop Omaha and Other Narcotics”), and, as of 45 minutes ago, a completed manuscript for The Full Tilt Poker Strategy Guide - Tournament Edition.
I’m picking up Valerie at school and lazying around - yes, I’m using lazy as a verb - for awhile. By late tonight, I’ll be back in the saddle, starting work on that I DIDN’T turn in on the Full Tilt book. (Shhhhhh!) But here is what I want to write for you in the immediate future: (1) some overflow from the Chris Ferguson article. I couldn’t use some of the cool stuff I had for the piece, so I’ll share; (2) that Gus Hanson story I promised you long ago; (3) my review of poker players’ MySpace.com pages; and (4) some analysis of the new law.
I also received another e-mail from Andy Beal and my first-ever e-mail from Chris Ferguson.
