I don’t want to let my rivalry with Iggy get out of hand. Sure, he’s younger and more energetic. He’s more prolific. He’s been at this longer than me. And he’s bringing a huge audience to Pokerworks.

Ever seen some great old James Woods movies? The guy played a bunch of characters who would kill you and not miss a bite of dinner. In BEST SELLER, he plays this killer who is so efficient that - well, I don’t want to spoil it. Just keep in mind that Woods, though a great actor, has that killer inside him. Several months before September 11, he saw some suspicious behavior on a cross-country flight, held on to his silverware in case something happened, and made a complaint that eventually implicated one of the September 11 hijackers. Or something like that.

I’m just saying, James Woods is not someone to mess with.

The guy once asked me for MY autograph.

He’s out there Iggy.

And Jennifer Harman? The 100-pound spitfire with killer instincts. The woman can charm a snake one minute, and detonate like a bomb the next. I helped arrange the game between the pros and Andy Beal in February ‘06, one of the biggest paydays of her life.

Here is a phone conversation Jen and I recently had:

MIKE: Jen, it’s Mike.

JEN: Mike?

MIKE: Craig, Mike Craig?

JEN: Hello?

MIKE: Andy Beal, remember?

JEN: Oh, yeah. What do you want?

MIKE: Remember you loaned me the three grand and I paid you back during the World Series?

JEN: When did you pay me -

MIKE: Never mind. Now you owe ME a favor ….

She’s out there, waiting to do my bidding.
