Now that I’ve decided to come to Las Vegas for the Blogger’s Convention - and, now that I’ve decided to show up, I am capitalizing “B” and “C” in Blogger’s Convetnion - I have to find a place to stay.

Guess what? It costs a lot of stay in Las Vegas. I don’t know why I never noticed this before, but hotels cost a lot of money. Who comes to Las Vegas in early December (other than cowboys) to make it so expensive?

I have written for a lot of magazines and I read a lot of magazines. REDBOOK isn’t a magazine I’d normally pick up on my own but I like reading magazines and seeing what they are publishing.

OK, so my 2-day average of making final tables in over 50% of my multi-table tournaments on Full Tilt hasn’t held up. In about 2 days, I’ll be reduced to being one of those guys who tells you the site must be fixed.

Since I finished my book, I have wanted to do 2 things: write my BLUFF column for January and play some tournamentson Full Tilt, unemcumbered by the writing responsibilities that I’m sure were the reason I’ve played like such a sack of crap since the World Series ended.

OK, it’s 2:57 AM on Tuesday, November 7. I just now sent off the finalfinalfinalfinalfinal FINAL manuscript to my editor at Warner Books. 162,953 words. I am going to go through it and make a list of the hands to illustrate, then vote, then sleep, then apologize a bunch of times to my family. That will prove exhausting so I’ll sleep some more. Then I’ll apologize to my friends and sleep some more.

Then I will give you all the attention to deserve. Here is what’s coming:
