It’s that time again, boys and girls. The bi-weekly Poker Works Family 8- game extravaganza is here!!!!

Date- Sunday, June 28th
Time- 2100 on the poker room clock (that’s 7PM Mountain, 6PM Pacific, some time in the morning on another day of the week for that JBHarshaw fellow in Tokyo.

buy-in- $5 +. 50
At stake- Now I don’t want to brag or anything (OK, I do), but I’ve played two of these since we made the switch to 8-game, and I’ve chopped first place both times (once with Linda and once with Charlie). In other words, YOU could be the one who chops first place with me this week!!!!
The skinny- The beauty of 8-game is that you get a LOT of play for your money. Just six players per table, and 2,000 chips to start, with lots of limit games, PLUS NLHE and PLO. So you can really test your skill as a player, and we can find out who the best overall player is (oh, I guess that’s me).
Sorry, that’s about as much trash talking as I am capable of. Life’s too short to go around as a hater. So show up on Sunday for the friendliest game on the ‘Net. You’ll be glad you donated to my kids’ college fund (ok, THAT’s all the trash talking, lol).
