Power to the piggy

Losing another poker site to U.S. players is never good news, but at least Doyles Room is allowing players to transfer balances and points over to Full Tilt.

Full Tilt has a no-deposit bonus in exchange for donating to the Poker Player’s Alliance (or upgrading to a paid membership if already a member). A $20 donation gets you a $50 bonus, $40 gets you $100, and $100 gets you $200 (I won’t mention the puzzling $1000 for an even $1000). You’re also entered into a freeroll to win one of 18 jerseys (worth 25,000 points).

The $200 bonus clears at their regular rate of 4000 points, or $20 every 400 points.

This is the bonus I’ll be doing when I return to Full Tilt in March. I’ve been away from Full Tilt enough that I don’t qualify for any of Iron Man. Without playing with rakeback at any site, I want to feel like I’m working toward something, and it doesn’t make much sense to earn points until restarting Iron Man.

‘Course, having cleared my bonuses at Stars, it doesn’t make sense to earn points there, either, except that I’m 900 FPPs away from GoldStar.

The Full Tilt bonus expires March 5 and as soon as the bonus is credited you have 62 days to clear.

Last night, I snagged a barbecue pulled pork sandwich and tested the lucky hair and pig theory by playing three $27 SnGs and one $16.

Came in 3rd in the first $27.

Busted out in all-too-familiar 4th with this ridiculous $27 hand that I managed to screen grab.
