You are going to get ‘frisked’ at the tables. Somebody always seems to be willing to look up your play regardless of image or the hand you are representing. Dan Harrington introduced many to the idea of ‘M’ in his first book. All of a sudden Tournament Players were rattling on about M like never before. Blinds were the way most had talked about it even if they still considered antes in later stages. On a site with no ante structure, M and Blind-relationship are identical. M just codified it better. M indicates your tournament health. It dictates what you must do to survive. (more…)

Who wants to be a Millionaire?

The other day I got a PokerStars email with a free ticket to a qualifier for their 2.5-million freeroll. I hadn’t played on PokerStars in a LONG time. I’d got one of those free money deals and over the course of some games qualified and ran it up but the loose play was too strong on the suckouts and I left to likely never return. (more…)
