Poker Perambulation

Well, I have a turkey breast in the oven with dressing, sweet potatoes sweetened with pure maple syrup , and the fridge holds my mom’s version of home-made cranberry relish. Friend stopping down to eat. So I’ll make this a quicky.

While it was all in the oven, I played some poker on Stars and Full Tilt. Omaha high seems the game of choice these days and I showed a very small profit at both. Beats a loser I guess.
Full Contact Poker is playing again. I toured the new (beta) software. There was a decent 1-2 NL game going and several others. Looks decent. They have the new player bonus bumped up to a max of $500 and it apparently pays out $1 for every 2 FCPs. Nothing for the returning players to pick up in bonus though.

Were all here. The suckouts ain’t that bad. So lets all be truly thankful. If you even feel like being sorry for yourself, read the ‘Worst Thanksgiving’ post on R.G.P. Your bad beats will become minor irritations. Iggy list one of those in his blog and there are a half-dozen others of a similar vein. On the good news front at R.P.G. though is Pokerchimp’s aunt is out of a comma brought on by transfusing the wrong blood and looks like she’ll make it with some complications.
