Did you watch the Borgata Open on WPT last night? Unbelievable suckouts dominated the first hour. It was obvious that the Borgata replaced its normal dealers with action shuffle dealers that formerly worked online at [insert vilified site of choice here].
Yes — for those chugging Single Malt with a beer chaser — that was tongue-in-cheek. But, it played like a good, online tournament. The two 21 year olds that ended up heads up played big stacks against everyone. Together, they easily outchipped the rest of final table. But, were also willing to play Russian roulette against each other. This shocked Sexton; I don’t think he’s played a lot online.
The poor bastard that had them on his right, never played back at them. They’d miss but jam the flop and his still better hand would roll over and play dead once again. They were happy with their stacks to play big pot poker and his approach never had a chance. He’d limp his AK and then fold to a rag flop. He kept trying to protect his M and gave them his chips in the end. When he did play back it was from behind and he was a source of many of the suckouts that kept him playing
