This bit of stupidity will finally be overturned. If it does it through the the WTO it will take years of hearing to happen. Our best bet is the Frank’s legislation and the lobbying of former Senator D’Amato. He needs warm bodies to show the politicans they are stepping on a lot of toes. We need to organize like the NRA has. They are a single issue voting block that gets attention in Washington.

Well, I figured as long as I was shilling the freeroll I would play it. Was doing ok when a big stack showed up on my left. He played table captain and with a combination of strong cards and suckouts kept knocking people out. I took a couple of modest pots off him; the way he bet there were no small pots. And when someone played back against him he’d somehow come up with enough — the luckbox wasn’t faltering a lick. I was fairly card dead but managed enough to stay with a decent M. In the middle of the 2nd hour, I picked up JJ and managed to lose it. The guy was now well in 1st place with chips and my JJ ended up 3rd best hand and I was out the door. Its been a while since I played a tournament. I don’t know if it was the cool deck or the table from hell but it didn’t make me want to jump back into that pond.

Those PPA freerolls on FT are decent. They pay deep. The enrollments aren’t full. The one I was in had 700+ and payed 180 places. But, do it soon, they are about ready to end.
