PBS ran the BBC’s political satire show of that name back in the 60′s. With David Frost and a number of other good writers/performers, it was a current preamble to shows such as Monte Python. I’ve always enjoy Brit ‘humour’ as it parallels my humor attempts and seems to get them in as much trouble as it has gotten me.
Well, lets start with poker. Stud has me bummed. And that’s gone on for more than a week. That’s got me ahead on the buyin by about 45. But, the desecent started at over 100 up and within a buck or two of my then current 300 goal. I just can’t seem to win a hand. I see guys betting their 5′s over and winning and I’m losing with flush and full house hands. Time after time I lose to the guy playing all three down cards. It has been demoralizing.

Felicia and Glen are back in Tucson for more treatments. They were given a few days off to visit home and have hints at normalcy. She had surgery to insert a feeding tube that is keeping her going while they try to find an illusive cure. They returned to the hospital the other night and encountered the worst of American medical care. A paper pusher overruled the doctor and kept her from what they returned for. The drive back necessitated medical assistance in getting her back on medications and maintenance.
