It been a while since I tried to do a Stud article. In that time I’ve played it most days and usually several sessions. I can’t really figure out if I’m doing better or worse. I’m trying a lot of different things. I’ve seen a lot of variance that doesn’t really seem part of my varying my game. Or at least it doesn’t nearly account for the variance. (more…)

Seeing that it is strictly an old fart mode passion, Joe Sebok doesn’t have a worry here. She’s the PokerRoad’s seemingly blond bimbo interviewer. You can see that type on just about every poker site that does the TV interview format. They typically bring a shudder to my frame as they play off their obvious “Look, I’m a girl.” persona. I actually feel sorry for them. About the only difference in the lot is the globular sizing on display and the various tint jobs. (more…)

You are sitting at this nice table. You’ve got a great comfort level going and you’re up a nice number of big blinds. Its been a session where you haven’t had to make a lot of hard or close decisions. There are online friend. Such friendships are fragile. I haven’t met a single one of the people in person that I call friends. Some don’t even know I consider them such.
