Decisions, Decisions, Decisions

Were always making them and them and then interrogating ourself like Doctor Phil during sweeps. Linda is doing it in the forum over a B&M hand as we speak. Obsessing is a pretty standard option for poker players. We all do it and make a fertile ground for doctoral thesis candidates for those who had too many class in the P### category. They even show up from time to time with questionnaires over in the poker newsgroups.

It all pretty simple really. We consider the hands we lose with a microscope. We sweep under the rug the ones that win on the suckout or from flawed thinking. We love the hair-shirt we can put on when we’re sucked out on by ‘the donkey’.

Last night I did watch a bit of the blogger freeroll over on FullTilt. I wanted to watch Joe Speaker for a bit with some brilliant and cutting observations. You know… the ones you always come up with 5-minutes after you need one. But, FullTilt has a bug. The tables were numbered 1-6 at the start and they’d played down to 5 before I got there and eliminated table 5. I could open tables 1 through 4 without problem but table 6 could not be opened. So, I went over and watched Bayne_S who’s one of those I enjoy reading on a regular basis.

I had zero brilliant, cutting comments. I found myself in the doldrums that tournament play brings about. It hit Bayne over the head too. Evidently card dead he played the waiting game to perfection. When you see that happening to a friend
