Don’t it make my brown eyes blue

I have blue eyes. It came as a bit of a shock to read today that all blue eyed people have a single ancestor responsible for the mutation. If you figure out 2^100, you’ll see a humongous number that represents the people that it took to make up your ancestry back 100 generation – assuming you aren’t from the south. (end: cheap shot)

OK, what does that have to do with a poker blog? Well, we anguish over 1 outers and the odds while the odd of us just being here to be sucked out on is such a huge outlier. Be grateful your ancestors drew out on the world.
