Poker Perambulation

OK, I know I come up with weird titles but at the ragged edge here, right? Actually, Clearspine is a fellow I’ve run into in our forum and had some fun with. I like the term eclectic – beats the hell out of off the wall.

The marker for this blog is his first article on the site. I remember doing that and it is a nice rush that you weren’t planning on not long before. It is a review of the new Harrington/Robertie book. OK, he ain’t Siskel, Ebert or even Roeper. But, that’s the top shelf and he’s better than trough booze by a bunch.

Take a look at his article. I was dubious about Harrington being as solid on ring as he was on tournament. His tournament book set the standard. Can he do the same with ring? Clearspine, makes me want to get the book. That’s in spite of this weird pen he was given to leave Dartmouth. You have to suspect a guy that left Dartmouth with a weird pen. But, go check out Linda’s weird pen on the blog page. He may fit in.

ADDENDUM:

I am back to wishing it was 6-card stud at the .50-1 table. That is the way it goes at times. I’ve crept back up. Not really to the max but working my way there. Maybe I should just bypass that level. I’m playing higher. But, I really can’t give up on a challenge. Of late, I’ve played the available level. If it is cheap then so be it. If its a bit above my comfort level that is ok too.

.50-1 is my only losing level and that galls!…

There is a big push on green and ecology. I tend to be a doubting Thomas with outfits always soliciting such as the Sierra Club. Here is something I respect and admire.
