Well, Scotty Nguyen outlast, outplayed, outchipped a cast of 148. I didn’t ‘watch’ and I’m glad I wasn’t the poor working stiff that got the PokerNews assignment. I imagine those poor souls are walking into walls at the moment. (more…)

Maybe we need one of those guidebooks to ID players. It might be more interesting/useful than some of the poker books for sale on Amazon. My one for birds doesn’t work for poker. I’ve never seen a Ruby Throated Hummer at the tables. (more…)

On FullTilt, you’ll often see the high limit PLO table is red. It indicates that the pros are having another wizzing contest. David Benyamine is often in the group and always one of the more aggressive players at the table. Tournaments require more aggression but that’d be hard for David or a Viking to pull off. (more…)

Well, Iggy won a spot in ‘The Big One” and I don’t mean the porn version. That couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. Actually, it is close though. Felicia’s Glenn won one last year. That turned into a dark comedy before it was over though – lead-up and not his play. (more…)

They are known for their 28 flavors. Too often I end up at a just chocolate or vanilla Dairy Queen. The B-R in our area is in the next town in an unattractive strip mall that I avoid for some reason. I even saw a joint somewhere that is offering bacon ice cream to pack up a favored blogger’s arteries in new ways. (more…)
