Sunday, I made a turkey breast. It is supposed to have something in it to make you sleepy. I slept through the start of the tournament and even felt drugged waking up. So, my sure winner status saved a place higher for all those who placed, I base that not on my superior skill but the law of averages. I haven’t seen a final table since TonyG sent me packing. A small part of that is that I’ve been in ring mode most of that time.

PBS ran the BBC’s political satire show of that name back in the 60’s. With David Frost and a number of other good writers/performers, it was a current preamble to shows such as Monte Python. I’ve always enjoy Brit ‘humour’ as it parallels my humor attempts and seems to get them in as much trouble as it has gotten me. (more…)

Well, Bill may be slinging more than his hog leg of late. We all tend to sling a bit of this and that more than is advisable. I’m sure in that group and most of us are. But, there is a difference between the dirt you sling over the back fence with that cute neighbor and what you post on a blog for the net world to view. (more…)

Over a dozen years ago, my dog had an RFID chip installed. It was done with a hypodermic under the skin on her neck. When excited by a scanner, it could provide info that told the owner. It was a great idea for dogs. I’m not sure about the rest. (more…)
