Senator Dianne Feinstein is a JOPKE!

I recently joined the fight (this is not my first) for the right to play online poker, in a regulated and licensed manner, by signing a petition to my state lawmakers at the Poker Players Alliance in an online form.

Bearly Having Time…

I will never figure out where time goes and why it zooms by so much faster the older I get. Maybe if I was just sitting watching TV and bored out of my mind, time would seem to creep along. But I can’t remember the last time I had enough time to be bored, but I know it has been too many years to count.

Happy Fourth of July

I wanted to wish everyone a very happy and safe holiday. I hope you will take a moment to say a prayer – to thank all of those who have fought and are fighting still – to give us the freedom to celebrate this holiday. Now again, another Memorial Day is upon us, and while most Americans relish in a three-day weekend by camping, having barbecues and playing in the World Series Of Poker in Las Vegas, I sit and reflect on what that day means and how I can celebrate it for its true meaning.

Best Laid Plans

Don’t always work out. Make plans to do something with all good intentions and life jumps in, conspiring to throw a monkey wrench in your plans. It happens to me all the time and there is nothing to do except roll with the punches. Continue reading
